· A flat work surface, preferably padded, is best for setting up your BoxFilter. A bed is ideal, as is a desk or table covered with towels.
· IMPORTANT: Before installing the BoxFilter on a camera for the first time, make sure the BoxFilter holder doesn’t have a filter on it!
· Note that the BoxFilter is always installed with the 37mm ring facing forward, so filter(s) can be threaded onto it. The rear round collar of the BoxFilter is always toward the camera.
· The BoxFilter is installed horizontally, which means its slots will be on the left and right. There are a VERY few cameras on which a vertical installation is needed; they will be noted in the Compatibility List.
See if there are any notes for your camera in the Compatibility List. If so, they should be useful during installation.
