Overview
The BoxFilter system consists of:
· BoxFilter holder
· Hook and loop strap
· Elastic bands (2)
· Spacer 1 (Large hole)
· Spacer 2 (Small hole)

The BoxFilter holder has a standard 37mm female threaded filter ring at its front and center. Two slots run vertically along its left and right edges. On the rear of the BoxFilter is a round collar, which fits outside of the lens barrel and usually rests on the camera front. On cameras where this is not possible, a spacer is held within the collar, allowing the BoxFilter to rest on the front rim of the lens. (This will be covered later in detail.)

A hook and loop strap is included, as well as two elastic bands with spring clamps. Either the strap or the set of bands (depending on camera) install in the slots and go around the camera body, providing a very positive means of securing the Boxfilter.

You will also find two spacers with different diameter holes. One of these is used in the rear collar when required. We’ve found that the larger hole works as-is with a great number of cameras. The spacer with the smaller hole may work as supplied, but can also be cut to fit your specific camera as necessary.

Before attempting to use the BoxFilter on a photo shoot, it is absolutely essential to read completely through the instructions and practice at home first. This is crucial, as you need to determine which mounting methods to use, and to set up everything to work with your specific camera(s) as detailed in the following sections.
